ABSTRACT: Recent work by Alegretti (2008) established a research paradigm for the investigation of the Vibrational State by leveraging neuroimaging techniques. In recent years, these techniques have become ubiquitous in the neuroscience and psychology fields for both clinical diagnostic and research purposes. The purpose of this article is to further elaborate on how neuroimaging methods may be utilized to explore the neurophysiological correlates of the vibrational state as well as other bioenergetic techniques. A second motive is to edify some of the inherent issues and challenges that these various techniques present when attempting to visualize this class of phenomenon.
