ABSTRACT: This article aims to present a technical explanation for the essential functions of the existential program (life task or proexis). Based on the notions of energetic self-qualification and process-thinking, the author presents a framework for understanding the existential program called ‘Holothosenic Process Theory’. This theory posits that the existential program is fundamentally a personal energetic process which transitions one’s holothosene from a pre-completist condition to a post- completist condition during a given lifetime. This scale of analysis is clearly limited, as it is focused entirely on the energetic state of the consciousness; however, this approach is generic and versatile, and will hopefully yield new insights and strategies toward facilitating and completing existential programs on this planet.
